Is it worth buying an air purifier?

Are air purifiers just another marketing idea, or is it an absolute necessity? What are the arguments for having an air purifier? See how much you can gain by investing in a quality air purifier.

When is it worth buying a purifier?

Air purifiers have recently become more and more popular in Poland, despite people’s still low awareness of the terrible state of the air in our country. It is worth remembering that the air purifier has a wide range of activities. It is worth having it turned on all year round. This will protect us not only against harmful substances contained in smog but also against allergic pollen, germs, and unpleasant odors. An important argument in favor of using the cleaner all year round is the fact that in the room in which it works, the need to vacuum or abrade dust is even three times less frequent!

Buying an air purifier in spring or summer seems to be the most reasonable idea. Usually, in spring and summer, prices are slightly lower, availability higher and it is much easier to obtain quick and comprehensive advice on the selection of the device from specialists.

Purifiers for allergy sufferers

Many years ago these devices were known only among allergy sufferers. Let’s start with people with inhalation allergies. With many plants, which have been pollinating for several months, it is very likely that at least a few weeks a year, almost all of us, spend our days with annoying cold and tearing eyes. You can also be allergic to mites, mold spores or animal hair. The answer is efficient air purifiers that constantly let the air through the filter. By keeping allergens in the filter, they reduce the allergic reaction.

A purifier that protects against air pollution

The social costs of air pollution are enormous because this pollution causes many ailments: Air purifiers, of course, are not a miracle solution to this problem – but they can reduce the concentration of many dangerous smog components in the home. In which we spend most of the day statistically. If we do not have an excessively intensive air exchange at home (ventilation), the reduction of these concentrations can be, according to our research, as much as 10 times!

Purifier for people with poor resistance

People with poor immunity (including virtually all infants) can also benefit from purified air-breathing. HEPA-13 filters stop 99.97% of non-gaseous air pollutants. They can cope with most bacteria, fungi, and protozoa without any problems. Furthermore, some air purifiers are equipped with cationic-anionic ionization, such as Sharp Plasmacluster, which can neutralize viruses and allergens “at a distance”, penetrating fabrics, carpets, furniture upholstery, etc., and can be used for the treatment of bacteria, fungi, and protozoa.

Cigarette cleaner for smokers

Although we do not recommend smoking at home and especially in children, it is a fact that air purifiers do quite well with a large proportion of the components of tobacco smoke. An on/off purifier efficiently reduces cigarette pollution. The smoker breathes less with unhealthy air, not to mention passive smokers, who can be exposed to the harmful effects of tobacco much less with the cleaner. Apart from filtering harmful substances, it also eliminates unpleasant odors. Smokers themselves are rarely disturbed. However, if smokers are visited by non-smoking friends, they will feel much more comfortable if unpleasant smells and harmful tobacco substances are neutralized.

Cleansing and moisturizing

Also, there are models of cleaners with a humidifying function. Cold outdoor air has low water vapor content. When you enter the house and heat up, the relative humidity is reduced – the air becomes very dry. Everyone knows how troublesome it is to dry air in winter, but not everyone knows how to fight it effectively. We offer models that are a perfect cleaner and an efficient humidifier. Thanks to them, you can get at home air that is always pleasant to breathe and healthy.
